This happy gathering of swans is amongst the curated works 2022 of the exhibition The LOVING MOMENTS at Galerie Kunsthaus Rapp in Wil.

For Sabeth Holland, the swan has a special meaning, because swan couples remain faithful to each other throughout their lives and are considered a symbol of love. Having grown up near the Old Rhine, the artist still visits her familiar places there regularly. Last year, she watched a pair raise eight young swans and was fascinated by their devotion and patience. The result is a fairytale panoramic painting, alienated from nature, with great depth.
