«Antedel (männlich, Plural: Antedels) ist wieder eine Wortschöpfung von mir, setzt sich aus den Begriffen ‹ante› – vor und ‹deluge› – Sintflut zusammen und bezeichnet so die Art Bunthalm, die archaisch, wild und wuchernd dem Himmel entgegen wächst. Mir gefällt das Wort sehr, denn es lässt mir mehr künstlerischen Freiraum offen als der für diese Art von Skulptur etablierte, eher strenge Begriff ‹Stele›. – Das Wort Bunthalm ist übrigens auch eine Wortschöpfung von mir aus den Jahren 1997/1998 und wurde auf der Blick Kulturseite erstmals im Frühling 1998 publiziert.»

«Antedel (plural: Antedels) is yet another one of my word creations. The term is a combination of the two words ‹ante› and ‹deluge›. Both are supposed to hint part of the inspiration of this type of long, tall sculpture. Before the the deluge, I believe, all artworks were archaic, wild and rampantly growing towords the sky.»
